Journal Aug 1951 James Hanker Grand Trunk Station, Toronto and into line to travel by the Cara Line for the summer. Two nights but we must have caught it on one boat, a small tug-boat. A # Game Hopper and I headed out gently in the morning. Unfortunately we had to go down the river on a slow steamer and could not stop at Montreal. We went all the way to Kingston and then took a train back to Toronto. From there we went by boat to Cobourg. The weather was hot and humid but the fish were biting and we caught a lot of smallmouth bass and pike. We also caught some perch and crappie. One day we even caught an old carp.
