6 August 2 August: Doug and I began our return trip
to the US by driving from Fortin essentially
straight line to just N of San Luis Potosi
where we camped. We did stop for a moment
to turn to a few rocks alongside the road
between Fortin and Cordoba where Brad and
I found three B. platydactyla this winter,
but the grass around the rocks had just
been cut and the rocks moved. The ground
beneath the rocks was dry and no sals
found
3 August: We continued N, taking a slight
detour to look for P. galeana bats near
Cabana. The area was quite dry, and we
found no sals at any of the localities
where we stopped.
