Panama - Cerro Panda area
Audubon Society Cabin along road to Cerro Punta,
Nueva Secja, Chiriqui Province, Panama
11 August 10 PM - Jim Lynch and I left Boquete this
morning at around 10 AM and drove essentially
essentially straight through to Cerro Punta. We
did stop in David first to repair a flat tire, and
then to inquire about the possibility of renting

named Carl Chapman who owns a lease here.
He, in turn, referred us to a German named
Kurt Hammerly who has lived in this area for

of Bambito. We spoke with Kurt and he
indicated the various trails with which we may
reach Boquete, the Continental Divide, and

man named Lola Gongoley who we should see
