1986 D.A. Good Bothrops asper Río Peje "bridge" on trail to La Cantarana camp 2 April One ca 1m long seen on la zona side of Río Peje just beyond bridge. Apparently sunning (?) on trail just above where we had temporarily stacked our backpacks. Moved off trail at our approach. Ca 1245 PM. Trail betw. La Cantarana + Cascante camps 5 April One collected on forest floor in immediate vicinity of a Sphenomorphus which was the original object of attention. 350m, ca 10 AM. Juvenile. Perhaps the Sphenomorphus was a potential food item (?).
