Pearson 1984 Camped by the Finny Pines near Sa Sibels. Saw quiet, active leaf-cutter ants between the hanging bridge and Sa Sibels. They were carrying green leaves. April 22 Sunday Night started out clear, then partly cloudy; no winds. Heavy frost on car and sleeping bag. Start stop out at 7 a.m. Car barely started. Picked up the 6 least trophs at 9 a.m.: I also found 1 Rathtrods. The latter was entering the burrow from which I prowled the trees yesterday evening. Portin Chacabuco, or 9.5 km north of the road junction to Villa Argentina. This same locality was called 10 km NNE Ushual (Trof) Dec. 10, 1983. Then drove back toward Barbados to where the new ops Vichelins is being buried. Beautiful bulldozed strip across the slope; goes south of Cano Geores and then across Est. San Ramon toward Pidcamuyen. Will try to find out if they are still bulldozing to the east. and Picked up about 3 qts of new pellets at Cano Geores, April 23 Barbados.
