Emge was unders, the sun well might
freeze when we turned back along another
ridge which running off to the north,
would bring us back to camp. On the
way we separated and in minutes
afterward Harry this young man I
hunted sent up a goral which he
killed after shooting it three times.
I accidentally learned how much
goring a goral needs for I believe it
can carry as more lead than any
other hoofed animal of its size.
Sunday Oct. 19
We railed today for it was another
cold raw morning and failed
to settle where we would camp
permanently. We had planned
a partition tents in the courtyard
of a half ruined temple at the base
of the white trail but the question
of fuel was a difficult one to solve.
I had asked me had been told in
the village that we could buy
plenty of wood and no problem
where to earth it came from
for the mountains we had seen
no signpost of anything
