three times with his automata before he finally pulled over. Had it heard any other accident I should have felt a surge of pity but the mercable brute called forth only sympathy. There will be more camels next year because of his death! We ran both to camp after the appearance of the wolf and on the way saw a lion with antelopes, it gave us a short chase but left its blood when he struck rough ground. At this time of the year the bushes are alone, and in most small herds there will be only does... If a very large herd is found there will probably be a few bucks but the females compose all the small groups. We saw an interesting thing on the way home for there were two dor mnylian gazelle with a dogene or so gottened gazelle. They were running with the herd and could easily be distinguished by their larger size, lighter color and short tail. When running the gottled gazelle keeps his long tail straight up over his back as still as ether.
