Mon Aug 7
[illegible] P.M. set a line of traps
with Chem Kany, J. F. I. tried for the
rest got nothing.
Sat Aug 9
Saw two deer hats 4 in but no shots - beautiful
day - Ext. walked with Dunderbier & rode
up the valley until near camped On
the way saw the head quarters of a farm
putting out some bushes & short, shot a
capcable & saw threewolves - wonderful
moonlight - long enough to shoot -
Sun Aug 10
Saw night jags had grass covered with
white frost - Dunderbier & S. D. I. saw
wooden hut no shots - Met a squirrel
but did not get it - Saw a big gray owl -
in P.M. J. F. I. went out but came back
early because of rain.
Mon Aug 11
Rained this A.M. & rained all day - stayed
inside & write journal, at 9 p.m. young
hunter returned but Dunderbier for he
was home so hard it became ill - Could
not find any mail today until next

Tue Aug 12
Beautiful day - warm in sun - all 9. 34,
red mob & papers - Sanna returned at
noon - S. D. & young hunter joined us
got for 2 day trip to the town of Sturton
for "field day" at S. D.'s house - Then
got off for long trip - J. F. I. left in
P.M. but see nothing.
