Skeleton Taken
No 28, Humpback, Male, Feb, 13/12 Alrusan
Head, back [crossed out] belly, sides of body almost
& entire peduncle black. Breast has
only a very few small white edgings to the
folds. A few white excrecs or namis
of lips in certain half. {This whale was
much like No 27} Some whitish bones seem
Finns Black above - Below white, except for
a narrow insignia of black & a small
basal patch of black.
Flukes Above & Below black - just a light wash
of white on the right fluke above.
Balens Bristles all dark gray as front half.
And half has the basal tips dark gray
& a whitish central band. Muscles
mem. of mouth (or?) very light flesh.
