65 Flukes below are black with a few narrow markings + bars of white - above black- with wide & shallow Dorsal - wrinkles have base & tips light brown posteriorly - anteriorly the tips are dirty gray as is central portion of dorsal - External Characters anterior insertion of fins is 123 behind corner mouth " " " " " " 117 " eye " " " " " " 5-6 " ear The ear is in a direct line from the post- erior corner of eye to the anterior insertion of fin - Hairs 27 hairs on top of supraphysis - 14 left - circular left corners - all bearing hair - 20 on left side top of head (count. ing center line) + all bear hair (on the center row of tubercles from blow hole to tip of snout there are = 37 The distance between the tip of upper snout & its tip of lower jaw is great, but neither seem to have been injured - the chin is prominent. Folds on throat are 90 mil. wide; 140 mil. between fins; 170 mil wide in front of navel. The furrows are 25 cent. deep. Dorsal fin is black.
