back of fin, the bottoms of the furrows are
feints in spots.
Pectoral fin below white with a very few gray
ish markings on distal third. Above gray
brown at insertion then slate & distally
white - ant. 1/4 foot edges dark ish distal
third is whitish.
Flukes above color of peduncle marked
with white lines - below slate like head with
a few lighter lines in one or two patches.
Dorsal fin Sides for whole length at base
are white shading into darker at upper
half - tip slate.
Pectoral Right above lobe left - below white - on
the proximal half in the median line in
the middle there are two large masses or
spots of fine gray lines.
The lower third remains have
the upper halves bleish - white & lower
half slate.
Baleen + rostrum month black - whiskers very thick
tongue blue slate.
28 pairs on symphysis 7 on left side
Tops of head - 18 mm to baleen ( ) The lobe
of the flukes of this whale is a triangle.
The ant. edge is straight & the posterior
slants rapidly toward the tip to meet the anterior.
