The excrement of these whales is about the consistency of thick cream & its brick-red in color, when drawn on the slip & cut into, it's an white which they have been blown up forces out the excrement which it sent forth in a thick stream & sometimes through eight or ten feet from the animal - its odor is very disagreeable. The stomachs of our whales so far have contained the same sort of food, shrimp-like animals, from 1/2 to 3/4 an inch long & occasionally a few worms, very much like earth worms.
