of tail purple + brittle dirt greyish white same as in others. External Characters. Same hump on inferior edge of pedicle exactly midway between anterior flukes as in others - this hump was seven inches high + shaped like this _ Pedicle, inferior edge, from base down to flukes - strongly crenulated - malar - Dorsal fin folcat + shaped almost exactly as in no. 3 with same dip at anterior tone - Pseudopods all similar same as others - Same ridge of chin just below pseudopods as in no 2. There are 16 furs on right rames of mandible - none go on throat - these furs are not as large as there can be by book. There were 11 throat furrows on the right side from eye to median line + from this I compute that there must have been about 22 furs altogether - I could not get at other side.
