The laminae of the neural arch are heavy & thick to form a massive trian- gular crest having a blunt grooved tip. This crest has [illegible] superfiicial anterior wall, but posteriorly the surface slopes from the tip downward & backward forming an angle like this; \[A]\ This surface is deeper concave on the median line. Two foramina are a little above the axis, separate the neural crest in its an. part. directed connecting with its groove in the posterior surface. The trans processes are wide & flattened superiorly & much thicker & heavier than the drop process. - The two project steeply backward & somewhat downward.
