292 1876. (April 11) [side note] Asaro [illegible] - R. Glancus Pas Principe Pas. iica, Pas. Oawanna, Duck's Island. Arrival at Cape Bojreans Apr. 11 To my complete satisfaction as to agents R. Glancus & R. Lincestums. They left Dudly along in the wake of the Blame and an around ourselves by tossing one pieces of fish etc. which they picked up with great willingness when they had drifted under their kin & vision. I could not detect much difference in their actions though I found that both the White Birds R. Lincestums especially were lighter & more graceful of motion than the R. agents. The difference in size between them reflecting was not marked at any distance but when they came up near it was apparent. Leaving Eastport at 2 P.M. we arrived at Cape Bojreans at about 4 and were kindly put on shore by the Capt. in the Ptenius life boat. Scarcely had we landed too a narrow flew by us and I recognised R. Principe's Unrocking, our guns for want in reach of it & they was so lucky as to recover it. Rather to my surprise found Pas. iica [illegible] & numbers around the house of Mr. Shond the light keeper when we are to stop and Stone killed a Pas. Oawanna. After supper croft down to two & Wild Squaws that were feeding near the ledge and shot down both killing one dead but 'Shot' not understanding the business it drifted off. The wind from the bluff is very fine & the prospect of shooting good as ducks are lying all along over the ledges. I forgot to note two adt's & Duck's Island.
