At about noon they were joined by four Anas obscura which fed with them for an hour or more until they were fed into from the shore; one Boaf and two Ducks were killed but the farms after a few whelings flights lit in the period again fast burn/ finally drove off, passing out high in air to the Southward: in an hour or two however they returned and wheeling over pond robeden decoys two or three lit for a moment but finally followed the rest of the flock which frighted was the charging and curying this heads on their feathers all about apparently to sleep: how they passed the afternoon occasionally taking short flights and settling again. The fight of "Plops" was truly surprising; a strong SEar wind Springing up in B. M. the framed through the marsh in cloud, some flocks, of at least a hundred Lin. Starred. Perhaps to dozen G. flavipes were also seen and strangely enough four or five N. grisea came through our complex angles. Dohy. orizovous is getting glut ocasa. Aug. 21 Cloudy with rain from S. West in morning, and strong cold wind from East in the afternoon. Early in the morning the flock of Geal seen yesterday was discovered still on the pond but was frightened out.
