This summer (Aug or Sept) also Sola pringipis; At Brooklin last spring he found My. Orinatus quite common in brick marshes! Shot (9 times & could have taken more; they remained all summer. He has also taken thus 2 Icteria viridis; has seen Cardinal's virgin. (a cage bird honors he thinks). In the Spring of 1872 he found D. castanea very common & in 1873 D. blackburnian. On the way over I find at a Buto birds & a crow but missed both. Nov. 25 Light Snow. Saw three or four large flocks of Turdus only; they have been present all the autumn. Mrs Belmont saw a grail cross the road & trying my horn took "Shot." I started the party (only 3) & pulled both bears or than killing with the & and a fine cock.
