Upton, Maine 105 1873. Aug. 3-6. of pink colored clouds people have a dark through outlined mountains then my eyes got for help as here or now. Then the night did come vary slow shouter at doors I reached the lake down through fired but fully repaid for them & homes. Aug. 3 Clear in A.M. Rained all P.M. Took a spoil down river in the forenoon & saw then Progre pelis among the hills. Saw P.M. tramped around the home. " 4 Clear cool & a lovely day. After breakfast started down river & beat out against the wind as far as Stony point returning in pretty quick time. Saw then Chroi Condastri & two kams agutcher. A large flock of Progre pelis has appeared on the river & I took two miniature & also a pull & rods. Had another slight attack of colic this P.M. Mr Brown & party around. " 5 Clear cool & a lovely day. Felt very weak & dizzy & sat about the home all day. Mr S. J. Brown & party started for Megalloway this morning & in the evening a large party from Cold brook arrived. Mr Monkhouse also came down on the boat with a string of 250 small trout carried in Stewardson box. " .6 Cloudy & cold. Felt much better this morning. After breakfast set down book of the house & took a D. typea sadie in interesting changing phenomena, instead of mine.
