JPMycs 1943 Journal Rodalong Canal #2 headed SW from Guad La Valle, Provin de Buenos Aires, Argentina 12 October could detect with 3 minutes. Also any other shorebird were cont'd noted only P. dominicus (P.dominicus + T. subruficollis(!)) Wind was strong and from south; temp in 60's, no clouds. We continued radio camping for an hour until camping by the canal. During the evening Jr. Bianini (?) on whose property Weller worked, and where cootk spoonbill nest according to Maurice, stopped by to charles. He invited us to visit his lake - I record this in order to take him up later on the invitation. His house is the first one after the 1st bridge over the canal after leaving Rte 11, N 10 km to the west. Many large flocks of Phalacrocorax olivaceus flew over at dusk, as well as Black-necked swan, R. spoolbill, flickers white- faced Ireduck. 13 Oct. At dawn 33 Phalacrocorax oli: flew SE east overhead. Temp 88°F, wind very strong and from west. no clouds. 0800 we began cruising again.
