No boat available for the Trobriands until the beginning of next week. Rus and
Lionel, therefore, will go across to the mainland and base with Lionel's grandmother
for a few day's collecting.
This morning I made application for air bookings to take Rus home via the Pacific.
Proposed date of departure from Semarai December 28, for arrival in New York about Janu-
ary 4th.
