209 Saw a hydrocid about 5 1/2 feet long and 1" to 1 1/2" in diameter. Brown to dark brown in color and covered over with round bead-like proturbrances in rows. It withdrew its tentacles and contracted the anterior half of its body when disturbed. It was scooping up sand into its mouth with its tentacles in about 8 inches of water. 4-8 Saw a hydrocid about 5 1/2 feet long and 1" to 1 1/2" in diameter. It was scooping up sand into its mouth with its tentacles in about 8 miles of water.
