camp, I decided to leave them. I got five on in "Old Faithful" and my myself. I photo'd a true fern for Brass & [illegible] a green colada. I did not spin any set but finish the Projects from yesterday June 27 1933 The morning dawn misty & raw. I visited my trap and returned to camp, with four sets all the usual species. I was only on camp a short while before it began to fall misty rain which soon turned to rain. I spent the morning developing a film for Brass (xxix) toward noon it began to clear so that by 2:00 PM. I looked good enough to go out. I took the rifle and went clean into the lake, then NW fast and after spur trail S. out to the shale divide between the Victoria & Chroma, when I stopped for about 15 min to examine its country. I then went along its plateau & then down the steep side of the Jinnu R. watershed a little ways to examine a pig nest of grass. I found it fairly fresh, though it would not been new lately. I then climbed both up on a long clont towards the E until I came to the jacelada hunting trail from where I took some photo looking S.E. over the plateau & S.W. I continued on its trail till I came to the saddle between the 2 walls shade that is one just south of the W.S. a. E. trail. I took a good photo of the lake below camp. I could just see [illegible] and [illegible] Victoria. Detraged by following its divide around the lake to the Stone Pine Hill which forms the junction of it's spur we aroun with the clade. From this hill one gets a very fine view over the plateau especially to its E & S.E.. June 28 1935 I started out with Brass to compare photos as Brass has been having some difficulty I speeded up the nine traps in the woods by camp we took a picture of the edge of the fast in the glade. We then visited the remaining traps through the rock forest. I picked up its lost one. When we went on down its trail a little ways then down and out on a spur overlooking the Chirona valley where I got a good photo and we both took some photos of some flowers.
