September 1st 1933 The early morning was grey but by nine or ten it cleared and the sun came out though it did not last as by eleven the mist came in and there was a heavy shower in the afternoon. I got a new species of rat "Stiff-haired Rat" under an ant passing under a root of a tree. September 2nd 1935 Only two rats in my traps. The morning was fine though about noon it clouded and by five it was raining.
