Last night I went shooting up the road towards Murr.
I only went as far as the stream. On my way out I shot a Brown
red frog-mouth when I first caught the red gleam of his
eye he was probably 80 meters off and I had got several
breathless moments when I got approached I shot him about 35m.
I saw nothing until I returned when on Sunday a chap lent
a short distance from where I stopped I got to within 12m of
a Red-frog-mouth which as it first was sitting on a stump by the
trail he very kindly waited while I changed the Tri for 40's. A
short way nearer came and in what looks to be the same
tree as before I saw and shot, this time with BB's, a Pseudochim
he looked to be hungry head downwards in a clump of bamboo
both eyes shone a glowing red I could not find him but
the morning Christmas
