some difficulty in getting the water to boil for the B.P.T. and
in the mean time I took some bearings & photos.
The bearing are as follows:
This was some mountains in the distance bearing 315° East
of Magnetic North which looked as though they were on
the Meridian of M.G. and looked quite high (14000 m.)

I took a partial panorama in the section starting at
Mt. Yule and swinging to the left. The led them
Uerjus Dome & Mt. Danielson. At 8:00 I took the B.P.
and at 8:25 we left for the S.E. Peak where we arrived
at 8:50 I immediately took the B.P. and then took a snooze.
Adamsen & Brass accompanied me while Brand
went duck hunting to the two lakes formed by the
fusin formed by the circle of Peaks. We returned to
Central Peak (Garoma) about 10 where I again took the
boiling point the results are as follows 5.75

÷ (B+B") = 249.78 + .270 metres from Garanda: 270 + 3680 = 3950 m. from S.E.
We found the Kivia hut also though only one actually
ventured near its cairn. We immediately left for the lake
we sent the Kivia on ahead. I decided not to wait
for tea as I had a lot of packing to do & I wanted
