"...and it was clear that the government had no intention of doing anything about the situation. The only thing they could do was to wait for the next election. In the meantime, the people were suffering from hunger and poverty. The government did nothing to help them.
The situation became worse when the new president took office. He promised to bring peace and prosperity to the country. But he failed to deliver on his promises. The people continued to suffer from hunger and poverty. The government did nothing to help them.
Finally, the people rose up against the government. They demanded an end to corruption and a fair distribution of resources. The government responded with violence. Many people were killed. The situation became even worse.
Eventually, the government was forced to step down. A new government was formed. It promised to bring peace and prosperity to the country. But it failed to deliver on its promises. The people continued to suffer from hunger and poverty.
