Pectoral
Sandpiper 2
Barrow Alaska
14 July (cont.) A short distance on in central March,
we came across a flock of all Pectorals (30-50
birds) that is the largest we've seen yet. This
is small compared to past years at this time.
(Perc.com. - Steve).
15 July
P.M. Steve collected 5 Ads. from a flock near
ADCS. This flock has been growing in
size last few days. It has been mixed,
having G. flowers, L.B. Sandpipers on occasional
Bairds and today a Carlou sandpiper (scope see
for 15 July - C. Sandpiper).
21 July
Scattered flocks still around, but not nearly
as many birds as earlier.
