We changed sticky boards 5 & 6 - checked the emergence trap #3 and then took 8 soil samples from control marsh. I asked Steve about the foxes and why he became angry when I asked about them and he is in edge about them for personal reasons. We left it at that. We returned to Bear Ridge crossing and took 8 more socks from pond edge and troughs. When we were almost to the main road, the track slipped off the wheel, so we walked in. The clouds are low and it looks like they are settling in. 14:45 We finally left for Meade River. The fog had rolled in and prevented leaving earlier. We saw several large herds of Caribou on the way down. (200-300 head in each). We arrived at Meade River at 15:30 and no keys to the buildings had been sent along so we will have to wait or eat until the pilot (Edgard) brings the keys back.
