Results on RC traps (P.californicus only): 3F 25.5 1188 P.californicus DELAP 5M U52 " 37g. ♂ M, scored (barely). Finished checking traps by 0915 hrs and returned to lab to stuff Sorey mortality. Results on Grid MC: P.californicus 2 4 5 P.boufii #5 #11 #11 P. tenui 6 8 10 N.busques 1 (new) 1 2 Perognathus 2 1 2. TOTAL 16 25 30 Then were a few high clouds today, but it was still very warm. Spent all afternoon working on maternity data. I reset only the drift fence traps on Grid RC, and picked up all the extra Shermans around 1630hrs. Reset grid's drift fence traps on MC from 1700 to 1745hrs. 2215hrs-out checking traps on MC. It's clear, calm, no moon (moon was ~½ full and set around 1930h). Finished checking traps by 2300hrs and back home Feb 21 0645h-out checking traps on RC drift fences first this am. It's clear, and cool (low 50s). I will leave drift fence perognathus open. Finished checking & picking up traps on MC by 0830h and returned to lab to label. Summary of results on MC. P.californicus 3 4 5 P.boufii 5 6 8 P.tenui 4 7 (new) 8 Perognathus 1 1 1 TOTAL 13 18 22. I released #1194 back at its capture site on my way back to Berkeley around 1200h.
