Covered w/ RED powder 9, 13 1943 " BECAP. 9, 10 1104 P.californicus. " (-20 stations) Started checking traps on GRID WR by 0830hrs. Many traps had been turned over, posessed, and drag away 1hr or so. I think N.fuscipes is responsible for many, but not all. One trap was wedged 30cm above the ground between 2 logs. Thought I should set more Sonahawks and perhaps a long line-trap Finished checking traps by 1900hrs and returned home. Summary of capture results on WR: P.californicus : 7 captures P.boylii : 5 " (2 new) P.tueei : 12 " (2 new) N.fuscipes : 3 " (1 new) Perognathus : 1 " TOTAL : 28 captures (5 new) Spent most of the day working on electrophoresis data. Reset GRID WR from 1530 to 14:15 hrs. I added 4 more National traps for Neofoma, and 1 squirrel-sized National trap backed with tuna flesh.
