Not particularly thundering, but a front is supposedly on its way. Reset RL drift fence traps from 1515 to 1545 and MC traps from 1600-1650h. Nov22 0645h - out checking traps on MC. It's overcast, upper 40's (much 1000-05s. warmier than previously). 16 traps were turned over on MC this am (10% of traps). The pattern was somewhat random and there was no sign of urine, so I think S. griseus was the culprit. Started checking traps on RL drift fences by 0750h. Taken out by 0900h. spent the am washing clothes and cleaning out the captive animal enclosures. Summary of results on MC - Podofillus: 3 capt. P. longii: 4" P. truci: 2" Perognathus: 1 TOTAL: 10 captives It was partly cloudy this afternoon and mid-70s. Supposedly weather a front is on its way. Spent the afternoon working on the computer. The sky with the clouds and the full moon is simply incredible tonight. A flashlight is useless in opening it's so bright. Anyway, I'm only going to check traps when #020 (P. truci) and her mate would be (eg the SW corner of the grid). - Caught #020 and redusted her, but no sign of her mate. Returned by 2145h.
