Hastings Reservation, Monterey Co., Calif.
Nov 18 Went into town this am for groceries & bait. Today was sunny,
mild 70s. Welcome weather. From 1330 to 1515h I set out
and baited all traps on LC20 MC. I also set and baited
the 2 large [illegible] live traps for Vernon. Reset all RC traps
from 1530-1630h.
2000h - Out checking traps on RC. It's clear, calm, low 40s, moon is
n to full and directly overhead (very bright!). Good results thus far.
Headed home by 2230h.
Nov19 064th - out checking traps on MC. It's clear, low 40's
Not many animals trapped, but only 2-3 traps closed with
no animals on MC. Finished MC by 0730h and proceeded
to check traps on RC. Finished RC by 0930h and
returned home to spend time with Mel who's down for the
weekend. Summary of results on MC - P.californicus: 2 captures
P. boydii : 6 "
P. fuscii : 2"
Perognathus : 2"
TOTAL : 12 captures

Today was sunny and warm again (mid 70s). Reset RC traps from
1415-1515h and MC traps from 1530 to 1630h. I will be going out
to check traps tonight.
