The fog lifted gradually this am. Spent the rest of the morning cleaning cages. Spent the afternoon working on the computer. Today was cooler (mid 70's) and clear. At [1530] I set trap for P. Kelly at his woodrat houses # 85, 83, 81, and 79 (he called this afternoon and apparently forgot to record a Neotoma tag # this past weekend). Reset DC drift fences traps from 1545-1615h, adding 10 traps to the east fence (total = 28 traps). Reset MC traps from 1630 to 1715h. (set both large carnivore traps)
2100h - out checking traps on GZio MC. dT's cold (low 50's), clear, no moon yet.) Several (115) traps were rolled mostly along the creekbed. I suspect it may be from S. gracilis. Finished by 2200h and returned home
