I spent the afternoon working on CAPTURE data analysis from WR. Reset RC grid traps from 1630 to 1715hrs, and added 5 National traps to catch N. fusipes. Next I set out 20 traps at the 1st & 2nd crossings on Big Creek in order to catch 2 female P. californicus for captive breeding purposes. Reset MC drift fence traps around 180fters and set stations 9,10 -> 9,10 in order to catch just dust & #1200. 2100h - out checking traps on RC. dT's clear, upper 60's, moon (74%) is just setting. Finished by 2200h and moved on to check Big Creek trapline Results at 1st Crossing (eastern) #1375 Q, flat, up, null, parous. 34.5g. Previously ear-tagged! Returned it to lab. Deeusa Q, mature, pregnant. Looks like an ear-tag ripped out! But no tissues collected, so perhaps tagged during dispersal trapping No animals caught on grid MC traps.
