July 28 0600h-out on MC checking traps. It's clear, calm, low 60s.
Started checking traps on WR by 0700h and finished by 0830h-
no Felis this am. Bled two new animals at the truck and
released them around 0900h in good shape. I returned to the
lab to spin blood and Ellie bled the captive animals.
Summary of results on WR: P. californicus: 7 captures (2new)
P. tenuis : 21 " (2new)
N. fuscipes . 10 " (5new)
P. boylii : 1
Pseudagnathus : 3 " (1new)
42 " (10new).
We spent the rest of the am working on the computer.
In the afternoon Ellie took humidity measures on all 3
grids and counted Neotoma middens on grid WR. I
worked on the telemetry paper all afternoon. Ellie reset
MC drift fence traps again at 1730, and both of us
reset all WR traps from 1915 to 1700h and RC drift fence
traps from 1700-1715h.
Tonight there is a full moon which rises at 2130h.

by 0830 and returned to lab: Ellie weighed the babies and
I worked on the computer all am.
