I returned MC animals to their capture sites in good shape around 1300hrs. I picked up all the folding shermans and cleaned out the non-folding shermans on RC from 1415 to 1530 hrs. I discovered a Microtus at (6,1)B (#0440) and a typical at 7.10 P. boylii (# 04130) when picking up traps. I couldn't get the P.boylii to warm up so I kept him in my pocket until I was at the lab - I left him in the plastic holding cage. I reset MC traps from 1600 to 1700 hrs. Quite the day!! 2115hrs - out to check the top 2 rows of grid MC. It's mostly clean with a thin layer of high clouds, temps in 40's. No moon yet. Redusted #1104 with green powder tonight. Finished by 2215 hrs Jan. 13 0700hrs - out checking traps on MC. It's clear, calm, and cool (40s) Finished checking all traps by 0900 hrs and returned to stuff P.boylii (#04130) from grid RC that died overnight. I spent the rest of the morning splitting and loading firewood for the cabin.
