We met up at 0715th and bld #1269 before proceeding to quad RC around 0800th. Picked up traps an RC as we checked them. See ppheet for release of 1269. Finished by 1000th and returned to lab to put up P.boylii mortality. Today's RC with SUNSHINE! We reset RC drift fence traps from 1105th to 175th and picked up the hygromograph. We then reset MC drift fence traps. I set up the hygroth. on MC about 3m east of station B,10 under a Buckeye. I also set the large National trap on the inside of the east drift fence (~E-4) to try and catch the charyon that has been turning traps and digging under the fence. No traps to check tonight! May 8 0945th - out checking traps on MC. It's overcast and cool. Nothing captured in the large National trap, but 2 of the carcasses left in the back of the trap as bait were missing. Also found fresh scat scat nearby. Finished checking RC drift fence traps by 0900th. I talked with Karen this am and we decided it best that she leave - things just haven't worked out and I think we are in agreement-
