The afternoon was mostly sunny and warm (60s). & From 1730 to 1800h we reset traps on GRID WR, adding more traps so that every station has 2 traps. from 1800b 190th we reset all drift fence traps on RC & MC. I also set 4 traps at the east end of IZC for 1170's mate. 2100h - Marco & Karen set out for grid IC for telemetry work. I will join them later. It is clear, moon is 1/2 full and directly overhead, and it's cool (low 50s). 2300h - out to meet up with Marco on grid IC. There is a high thin layer of clouds which is barely obscuring the moon. Marco checked a few animals with me before leaving. See telemetry data for summary of results. April 25 01:15h - headed home for some shut-eye! 0640h - out on MC checking drift fence traps. It's clear and cool this am (low 50s). Started checking traps on WR by 0800h. Caught 2 new animals that we returned to the laboratory to bleed. Summary of results on WR: P. californicus 11 captures (2 new) P. truei 13 " (4 new) P. boylii 3 " (new) Perognathus 3 " N. kayseni 4 ' TOTAL. 34 capt (7 new) Today was sunny and clear, and warm (low 70s). Karen went into town today, and Marco and I did some telemetry and potting around on IC. We all re-assembled and reset traps on WR from 1630 to 1730h - We put out 6 of P. kellyi's Nebrama coyotes to try and catch Nebraska before they roll the slamers.
