I spent the rest of the morning preparing specimens that were poorly frozen. In the afternoon I worked on caking down. It began raining harder this afternoon and continued past sunset. From 1700 to 1830h I reset MC grid & drift fence traps. The trails are very muddy and I was soaked by the time I finished. I tested 2C drift fence traps from 1830 to 1900h. Karen arrived back at Hastings this evening. 2215h - out checking traps on MC. It's not raining now, but it could start any minute! It rained off and on throughout. We finished checking traps by 2330h & loaded home. April 20 0645h - out checking traps on MC. It's mostly clear this morning, very wet from the rain last night, and cool (upper 40's). Clouds moved in quickly this am, resulting in partly cloudy skies. We finished checking all traps by 0930h. I returned to the lab to prepare a spox mortality and 2 frozen specimens.
