Summary of results on RC: St # (1) 4.6.5 | 1534, 27g d lm, TBD St-#5-55 Returned to lab - No powder 4.6.5 1529 23g d lm TBD weights 4.8. 1513 24.5g d lm, TBD 4.5.8. 1520 32.5 d EM, TBD Finished checking traps by 1000h and returned to lab to collect tissues from 2 new RC. Summary of results on MC: (10 cm) ultra #und P. californicus 2 10 10 P. boydii 6 14 18 P. tenui 3 6 (una) 7 Perognathus 2 4 6 N. fuscipes 0 2 (una) 2 TOTAL 13 38(una) 43 Returned the new RC to their capture sites in good shape by noon. Today was sunny and warm upper 80's. All of the oaks have leafed out by now (just in the past week!) and lupines dominate the flowers. The heat already is beginning to dry out the grasses on the hillsides, although the canyons are still very lush. Reset MC grid and drift fence traps from 17-1900h - spent 45 min. of that retrieving lost radio-collar (#1460 - see appendix). Reset RC drift fence traps and selected grid traps by 1845h.
