From 17-1815th I reset RC drift fence traps and set most of the non-folding Shemans on the grid - will be checking the reproductive condition of PC only u-pop of Gubernick's visit. Also added 4 more traps to RC west fence (total = 38) and 5 to the RC east fence (total = 35). Reset MC drift fences by 1200th. 2200h - Out checking traps on PC. It's overcast, low 50's - Not many animals. Also checked east drift fence for PC (!:183). Only caught 1 male with no sign of powder. April 3 0105th - out checking traps on MC. It's foggy, upper 40's. Started checking traps on RC by 0730th. Great results! Jopp # 840 PC back to the lab to check for fluorescent powder (ORANGE? from 1183), plus (#1525) have new PC from MC drift fence to collect tissues - 0900th. Returned 1525 to her capture pt in good shape by 1000h, and #840 to him by 1030th. Spent the rest of the am cleaning mouse cages. Today was another clear, gorgeous day. In the afternoon I assembled all the radio-collars for use this weekend. From 17-1800's I set the following traps on GRID MC: all drift fence traps, added top 2 rows of the grid - 4 more folding Shemans to the west fence (total = 18), and 8 Shemans scattered on west side of the west fence (in order to catch 13B1). By 181900h I reset only RC west fence. I double-checked to PC make sure all grid traps were closed and all RC east drift
