Conducted one cygnet encounter (see appxct) before returning around 2315h.

Today was summer-like! Sunny, upper 70's. From 15-1700h I set and baited traps on GRID MC. For the first time I actually measured (compass and meter tape) and staked out stations # 7,4 -> 10, 4; and 11,5.
Everything is budding out on MC, including the snowberry.
Reset DC drift fence traps by 1740h. I also reset all the max/min thermometers on all grids this pm to begin monitoring temps.
2130h - out checking traps on MC. Balmly - mid 50's. Moon ~ Yellows rising, partly cloudy. Not bad results. Finished by # 2240h.
Moon is overhead & bright!
