Dec 1 Arrived back down at Hastings today around 1500h. Grasses all continuing to green up, sycamores are all golden, and the deciduous oaks are beginning to drop their leaves. It rained over an inch last weekend, so the ground is very moist in some places. Megan showed up and we started setting traps on Upper Bridge 1 & 2 grids. Finished by noon and then set all traps on Grid DC. Finished just as it was getting dark (1715h). Claudia showed up this PM before going out. 2100h - out checking traps on DC. Clear, low 40s, moon is < 1/4 full and set about 1hr ago. Radio-collared a new immature PC tonight (see Telemetry Data). Would have put on more collars, but they weren't working. Otherwise, very good results tonight. Finished by 2300h and returned home to fix the radio-collars. Dec 2 0650h - out checking traps on DC. Clear and cold (mid 30s) - light frost. Good capture results, put out an additional 3 radio-telemeters. Finished around 0830h and proceeded to check Upper Bridge grids. Mary Ellen Heldt(?) arrived to help out (she left at 0500').
