REELE, D.O 1989 Journal 104 Hastings Reservation, Monterey Co., Calif Oct 7 Spent the afternoon at the Hastings Open house festivities. Quite the crowd! From 1700-1830, Morgan, Claudia (down for the open hour) and I set WR and RC grid traps. 2200h - out checking traps on RC. Clear, low 60s (definitely warm), moon is 1/2 full and setting in the west. Due to the late hour, we only checked those traps when the pregnant Pc are usually captured. Finished by 2315h. Oct 8 0645h - out checking traps on RC. Clear, upper 50's. Picked up or opened up all traps as we checked. Finished by 0830h and proceeded to check WR traps (again picked up traps). Finished by 1030h.
