July 17 2200h - out clocking traps on RC. Clean, low 70s, moon is almost full
and rising in the east. Not many animals this PM. Finished by 2300h
July 18 0600h - out checking traps on MC. Clean, mud looks. Results at woodpile:

Note that we started toe-clipping all Pe in case of future ear-tag
losses (see Pe app area for numbers). Returned to lab to take
vaginal smears. Spent the rest of the am working on MC
habitat measures. It was not only today (mid-90s), but this
afternoon a stiff breeze kept the temperature from getting
hotter. Spent the afternoon working on entering data.
Reset all grid RC traps from 18-1900h, and MC drift fence
traps (including woodpile traps) by 1930h.
2010h - out clocking traps on RC. Clean, low 60s. Moon is full tonight, but
it hadnt risen high enough yet to shine on the grid. Results about
same as last night. Finished by 2300h.
July 19 0600h - out checking traps on MC. Clean, low 60s. Results at woodpile (Ponly):
-No Pe captured. Started checking RC traps by 0600h. About same results
as yesterday. Returned to lab by 0800h to take vaginal smears.
Spent the rest of the am finishing habitat measurement on
GRID MC.
