Great trap results. Ct remained mostly cloudy all day, upper 60's. Prepared the "albino" S. beeclayi this afternoon and showed Julie how to prepare study skins.
From 17-18ish we set and baited all grid MC traps and MC drift fences. Reset all WZ traps from by 19ish. Will trap grid MC for 3 nights only (before I have to leave for Alaska). Tonight we will only check MC and no traps were set on RC (didn't want to risk mortalities with too many traps).
22ish - out checking traps on MC. Clear, low 60's! No moon visible.
Good results this PM - returned with 2 new P.c. by 2330hr.
June 5
0800 - out checking traps on MLC. Overcast, mid 50's (cool!).
Finished checking grid MC traps by 0900h and proceeded to check grid WZ traps. Picked up and or opened up all traps as we checked.
Finished by 1000h and returned to lab to take visual surveys and collect tissues from 3 new Pc. from MLC.
