Reset all MC traps from 15-1600, and finally reset RC drift fence traps from 1145-1145h (put paper towel in each trap). Around sunset low, foggy-druuffy clouds moved in. 2115h - out checking traps on MC. It's overcast (light-somewhat visible) and balmy - 420! Good results tonight. Returned at 2230h with a new immature mouse. Jan9 0650h - Out checking traps on MC. It's overcast, low 40s. I opened up all non-folding Shermans and will return to pickup folding Shermans. Finished by 0830h and proceeded to check RC drift fence traps. Finished by 0930h and returned to lab to collect tissues from 1467. Today was mostly sunny, low 60s. More rain is on its way manana. From 15-1630 I set out and baited all RC grid traps and drift fence traps. Set out 5 Nebraska trap shelters (2 traps per) across the grid. Reset MC drift fence traps by 1700h. 2130h - out checking traps on RC. Clear and cold (low 40s). Good results tonight, but no sign of P.californicus breeding. Finished by 2300h. Jan 10 0750h-out checking traps on MC. Cloudy, low 40s. Ran out some overnight. Started checking traps on RC by 0730h. Lot of animals! Finished by 1000h and returned to lab to prepare Sraf mortality
