April 26 (cont)
Traps already in place. Reset PC drift fence traps, adding
14 new non-folding shermans to each fence. Reset MC drift fence
traps by 1930h
2230h - out checking traps on WZ. It's clear, calm, low 50s,
no moon yet - good PC results this PM. Finished by midnight
and returned with 2 new PC to collect tissues tomorrow am
(# 1538; 1539).
April 27 0630h - out checking traps on MC. Cool (low 40s, light frost), moon
is ½ full and overhead. Started checking PC drift fence traps
by 0715h, and grid WZ by 0815h. Good PC results.
Finished shortly after 1800h and returned with 3 more new
PC (# 1541-1543) to collect tissues this am.

Today was clear and warm (mid 70s). Spent most of the afternoon
working on data analysis (have mamal group presentation 8 May).
Reset all WZ traps and released all new PC in good shape
from 17-1800h. Finished setting RC & MC drift fence traps by 1900h.
2210h - out checking traps on WZ. Clear, no moon, low 50s.
Fewer captures than last night. Finished by 2315h
April 28 0630h - out checking traps on MC. Upper 40s, clear - Started checking
PC drift fence traps by 0715h. Caught 9 PC #1183, her mate 040,
with 3 newborns! (see sup sheet) Started checking traps on WZ
by 0815h. Caught another PC #1429 with a newborn baby!
