TOTAL 21 39 44 captures
Released #1536 in good shape at its capture point by 1030h. Went into
Salinas today to refill my Nitrogen tank - almost empty!
Today was hazy and warm (upper 70's) - foggy towards the coast.
Reset MC grid & drift fence traps from 16-1700h, and RC drift fence
traps by 1800h [earlier than usual because John Alwood is coming
out for a visit].
2245h - out checking traps on MC. It's clear, moon is 3/8 full overhead
[John and I]
and bright, low 50's. We only checked a few traps tonight, so
this shouldn't be counted as a full trap session. Finished by
2245h.
April 14 0645h - out checking traps on MC alone [left John and Chris
dumbering away]. It's foggy (almost misty), low 50's this am.
Opened up all flow-folding Shermans as I checked traps, but
I will return later for the folding Shermans. Finished by
0830h and proceeded to check RC drift fence traps.
Allot (16) traps closed on RC west drift fence, but capture
success was below 50%. Finished by 0915h. Spent the rest
of the am with John & Chris.
