Results on Transect east of Grid RC: st. # spp sex Age Brdg. 280 04400 P.boylii 25♀ SAD imp.,nullip N 27E 0130 P.boylii 19♂ early SAD TWD (close) 273 Didn't tag N.fuscipes M Results on Grid RC: (returned to lab.), covered with red powder caught at base of old salsic trunk N 5,13 1139 P.californicus 23g ♂ imm TWD. where #1079♂ was nesting. 6,13 04410 P.boylii 22.5 ♀² SAD scrotal. Finished checking all traps by 09:15 & returned to lab to liberate animals. Summary of trap results on MC: P.californicus 5 captures P.boylii 2 captures (2 new) P.hueli 3 captures N.fuscipes 3 captures TOTAL 13 captures I returned all 5 P.californicus to their capture locations and released them this am. The sun burned the clouds off early leaving clear skies thus am. Reset all traps on Grid MC & MC drift fences from 1530 to 1630 hrs, and RC drift fences, transect east, and grid traps from 1630 to 1700hrs. Tonight was clear and cool with almost NO moon. Dec20 0710hrs - out to check traps it's clear and cold. Results on transect east of RC: st. # spp Wt Sex Age Brdg N 280 1140 P.californicus 21.5 ♀ imm nullip. Returned to Lab to clean 279 0100 Microtus RGRAP 27E 1931 1949 P. californicus 41 ♂ M lactating, lost 1/2 of tail recently. Dusted off ORTHOS 27E 04040 P. boylii 24 ♂² M scrotal.
